Brian Marois, AAMS®

Brian founded Impact Financial Planning to help people approaching or enjoying retirement understand how income, investments, taxes, Social Security and legacy decisions fit together.

His approach is education-centered: explain the reasoning, make the tradeoffs understandable and keep the financial plan connected to the decisions clients are actually facing. Brian also hosts The Market Interest, a video series about investment markets and personal financial wellness.

Planning focus

Bringing retirement decisions into one coordinated plan

Retirement planning is rarely one isolated decision. Brian helps clients evaluate how each choice may affect the rest of the plan.

Retirement income

Coordinate pensions, portfolio withdrawals, Social Security and cash reserves around the household's spending needs.

Investments

Connect portfolio risk, diversification and liquidity to the retirement plan rather than treating investments as a separate exercise.

Tax-aware decisions

Evaluate the timing of withdrawals, Roth conversions and other planning opportunities while coordinating tax questions with qualified professionals.

Social Security and legacy

Consider claiming choices, survivor needs, beneficiaries and estate priorities within the broader retirement strategy.
